Does not feel like monday and im sure after all those oscar parties last night everyone is still sleeping last night as I was getting In n Out there was a limo stuck in the drive thru becuase the giant car could not make the turn it was intresting to watch and they finally ended up driving the limo over the bushes.

Anywhere near the beach haha. I was looking at places in Laguna because i lived there during the summers until i was thirteen years old so it feels most like home, but i’m also looking in different areas with the same sort of community But i haven’t personally been to any where else oceanside wise other then Long beach but i didn’t have a great experience there so thats sort of out of the question.

You are the Beckham of photographers, Tyler. Your photos, they’re, like,…calculated love. Deceptive. They appear spontaneous, but you gotta know that a great deal of thought was put into lighting, blocking, symmetry, negative space, contrast. Tactile. You want to touch them. You photograph the way a sculptor sculpts, I’ll bet. You see the end-product, even before the subject has begun to pose. You *carve* your photos, as opposed to click ‘em.

I work in a fitness club. Some great bods in there. Often, the atmosphere is charged with prurient Tom-peeping. Sometimes, I see a guy hefting some weights, and I want to freeze-frame the pose in my mind. There are skylights, and a beam will shine down on some guy just as he’s over-heading, say, 200 lbs. The scene is almost….timeless. Greek. He’s Atlas, and I want to trace the “map” with my fingers……

Fun? I work 80-plus hours a week, not much time for fun. Came home from work at 11. I head straight for my computer, try to find at least 3 cool bands a day on MySpace (I have SUCH a thing for musicians). Then, I zip over to YouTube. My 16 year old son sends me a link to a guy who rollerblades down a street, with a flexible drumstickon his skates that knocks on these glass bottles lined up, filled with different levels of water, to comprise the notes of a famous Mozart song, and I think to myself, “Some people are SO creative! Why aren’t I, any more?” Then, I hit a random link, find a German TV series all about 911 conspiracy theories, and I think, thank Heaven I’m Canadian.
