Not really. Three years ago today..my best guy friend passed away. I hate this day. It used to be my favorite…until three years ago. I miss him so much.

Directions to make a “sparkler bomb”
1. Take one/two box of ordinary sparklers
2. Bunch sparklers together, wrap all “sparkler” part tightly in industrial strength duct tape, but make sure 1 sparkler sticks out.
3. Light stuck out sparkler
4. Throw
5. Run like the fucking wind.
It’s almost the equivilent of a m-80….only if your out of m-80s….

It’s okay.. I just really don’t like being around anyone on this day. So I just sleep.. and then at night we go to my dad’s best friends or my uncles or something because they understand me when I just break down and they let me have my space, yanno?

My friends and I were doing fireworks and throwing those flower things in the street and watching them go off. Well one of my friends threw the flower a little too hard and it went across the street into a bush. We all freaked out cuz we thought it was gonna catch on fire, but somehow the flame went out and we all were relieved. Then suddenly the bush the firework was thrown into caught on fire and the whole thing went up in flames. We don’t let her do fireworks anymore. [:

Yeah, they are really cool about it. I guess what makes this year suck worse than the others is the fact that my brother was there when it happened and he just held me when I broke down.. Then he lived in Montana and England the past two and called me on the day and talked to me for a long time just telling me he loved me and it’d be alright..but he can’t call today because he’s in Iraq.. so i’m just sitting here thinking about all the things he said and did to calm me down and oddly enough, it’s sorta working.
You don’t need to say anything. You listening to me is saying enough. It shows what kind of person you are, a great one.

Ok. I have to tell you this. On our street on the 4th it gets really crazzzzy. The guy across the street (Gary) used to be a pyro tec. and gets all these crazy illegals, well the whole street gets illegals, but he puts about 2 grand into it. Two years ago the guy two doors down (Lannas husband) decided that he was going to out due Gary. He tried shooting off some canons and one fell over and started shooting into his garage, he kicked it to try and turn it over and it flipped and started shooting under his car. Last year he stayed inside.
