This is Clifton Collins Jr who you might know from Capote and Babel but last night I saw him again in The Rules of Attraction and I have to say he was amazing as Rupert the drug dealer if you have never seen the movie which is based on the book by Bret Easton Ellis who did American Psycho and Less then Zero 2 of my favorite movies check them out if you get a chance I promise you will love them.

As for Bret Easton Ellis, Glitterati is his next film coming out Directed by Roger Avery The director of The Rules of Attraction so it should be awesome… It is intresting how they made this movie read below…
Footage was originally shot in October 2001 for a brief 5-minute sequence within The Rules of Attraction (2002). Shot as a three-person cast and crew (Kip Pardue, Roger Avary, and Greg Shapiro), using two miniDV cameras, the shoot quickly blew up to 70 tapes worth of footage. Avary subsequently decided (during the trip) to buy the rights to “Glamorama” and attach Pardue to the project to reprise his role as Victor Ward. The 70 tapes of footage therefore are being re-edited into a feature-length piece, entitled “Glitterati”, which will act as a sort of bridge between “Rules of Attraction” and “Glamorama”.

Shannyn Sossamon was the reason why i watched that movie, and becasue of her beauty she showed me a wonderful movie. I love shannyn sossamon in this movie the most of all. she played my favourite character in this film…

Wow, I read a proof of the book Glamorama back in the 90’s when it came out. “I wasn’t there” is like the thing the anti-hero says the most when someone says they saw him somewhere…. interesting plot twist… will the film stay true to that?

I know this might sound kinda fucked up….but the beginning rape scene of sossamon in the movie is one of the reasons i grew to really like her. I had never seen a character so real than that moment…
A lot of it was her response afterwards to it…..how she might have been a victim, but never plays the role of one….

yep, ive seen that movie and it was pretty damn good!
i loved how it didnt cover up the bad things and just went for it and showed how fucked up it can be.
