Malibu Castle
Last night I went to a fashion show at the Malibu Castle (yes there is a castle in Malibu) it was a very strange night we parked about a mile away and jumped in a van and I was taken to a castle it was very strange but amazing at the same time. At the fashion show there was ball room dancing in between the sets but the real fun part was the model drama that was going on in the tent listening to them yell at each other made the night for sure.
I normally do not report on news but there are 2 things I feel I should address.The Owen Wilson suicide attempt.
Owen was discovered by a family member who summoned help.
Police and an ambulance responded to a 911 call from Wilson’s house in Los Angeles around noon on Sunday.
Owen is said to be in stable condition at the moment.
Owen Wilson has overdosed and they are now saying he tried to kill himself,this is very sad I had the pleasure of meeting Owen once and he was a great guy I hope he gets well very soon. Owen Wilson is an amazing actor and I can’t say why something like this would happen but I hope this is the end of Owens Trouble…Get Well Soon!
Today I am doing a Cover Photo shoot with Linda Cardellini (Freaks and Geeks and ER) for Eliza Magazine I will report tonight after the shoot and let you know how it went But I am super excited to work with Linda again she is amazing and such a sweet girl…Make sure to check back for that later tonight!

So many times we think that if we were just rich, if we were just famous then we would be happy… We look at celebrities like Owen and think that this guy is the happiest, funniest person ever, but this just goes to show that as many times as we watch celebs in movies and in the media, we dont really know them, we forget alot of times they are just like us, they are real people and sometimes the acting doesnt stop the moment the camera stops rolling.
I cant imagine the strain and stress that celebs feel, the pressure to live up to everyones expectations, the lonelyness Owen must have felt yesterday is overwhelming to me, my heart breaks for him and his family…

Tyler, I had no idea about Owen. When I heard the news on CNN they didn’t mention a suicide attempt. Yikes! You know he is from Dallas and well loved in town. His family must be frantic. How sad.
Linda Cardellini is a good actress. I never watched Freaks and Geeks, but I have followed the rest of her career and think she deserves a bigger showcase for her talents than ER (a show which jumped the shark a long time ago). Can’t wait to see the pictures. Will you take a nice glamour shot too? She deserves a great head shot she can put on the IMDB!
Monday is great. I am now fixing myself some soft taquitos, Puerto Rican style, so I need to go have lunch.

Poor guy, that makes me sad..but hopeful for him. Its just horrible that people get to that point in life sometimes.

They haven’t “confirmed” if it was a suicide attempt. Media reports have been saying that, not hospital staff. I hope the media is wrong like they almost always are. Either way I hope he gets better. I don’t know who Linda is but she’s pretty and I’m sure you’ll photograph her well like you already have done. Mondays are boring for people who are not as cool as you haha.

I pray that Owen gets well soon, he is a wonderful man and comes from a wonderful family. I’m sure his brothers will help him. Moral question dealing with photography:
You shoot a concert and it’s ok because the artists are on stage. They’re off stage and they’re mostly mingling with friends in the bar and talking to some fans. Is it ok to shoot the artists mingling? Or do you have to ask permission first? What would you do?

Eva i never shoot live stuff but i did once and my fav shot was after the show back stage just take the photo when you get into like publishing and things like that for magazines the bands pr will approve all images so shoot away.
