The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus one of the nicest most down to earth bands I have ever worked with we all grew up in the same town as kids and I can’t say how happy I am that they have made it out and are doing so well now. I can’t have more nice things to say about these guys they are such nice guys. We shot this at a crazy Theater in downtown L.A. at I think around 4:30 in the morning after a long day for both of us The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus had just shot there new video (with shane drake) for there song Your Guardian Angel I will be sure to update you on it when Shane Has it all done Looks like it will be a great video!

and why am i still up? a massive tornado seems to hit the inside of my apartment while i was at work today, and it ate all my food and refused to use the trash can apparently, so i’m running storm damage control. or somethin like that, i guess….. meh.

ok tyler, random question i thought of with the mentioning of “sleep is the enemy”:
I noticed you havent really done a shoot in a while that you would categorize purely in your “art” section. Ya know, things like the red shoe, kill your tv, robots..basically the kind of photos that seem to be bursting out of dreams. But rather, its been more portrait and advertising stuff. Is this just because you haven’t had time to pursue the really “artsy”, or are you starting to lean more towards assignment photography?

Well,
It’s actually been a rather gloomy day.
Yet, it was probably the prettiest day of the year…
And I just stayed inside, wrapped up in a blanket and watched romantic comedies that I grew up watching.
Like Sleepless In Seattle and when Harry Met Sally.
You know, the ones that make you cry, because they play those old songs like A Wink And A Smile, and speak in ways that… people today have forgetten about.
Thinking about recent events that I would give the world to change, but instead, I let them pass me by.
Wishing that I could just live in one of these movies.
But as of now, Tyler Shields, I am still having the same sort of day, except, I have moved on to Breakfast At Tiffany’s…
