The Dentist
Yes The Dentist today was the day it has been a year since I went last and man let me tell you awful! I had to have a tooth fixed that was broken and the Novocaine was not working so i felt the whole thing very painful, but I will say this I am very awake right now!!!! After 11 shots in my mouth I finally started to not feel anything after a while and now of coarse I feel nothing on the left side of my face… The big mistake I made was not eating before so now I am stuck to Jamba Juice for the rest of the day…

Great shot of Taryn! Sorry to hear about your dentist visit and it going badly. Last dentist visit was about 7 months ago. Haven’t really ever had a bad dental visit, blessed with good teeth. My days are going along too slowly. I have had a few bad weeks here lately. I hope everyone here is doing good though.

Worst experience at the dentist… got myself so worked up over having a cleaning that I actually cried while in the chair before it even started and wouldn’t go through with it. Give me a needle any day over that icky scraping!
I have since had numerous cleanings since then, lol.

my worst day at the dentist was i got 3 fillings, and the dentist drilled into the inner part of the tooth and hit the gum. i felt it completely, and i’m scared to think what it would have felt like not to have the novocaine.

so i was allergic to novocain and they have to give me a double filling, and it was pretty big. and it was extremely painful. and they couldnt do anything for it. it was about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

my worst day at the dentist was my check up a week after getting my wisdom teeth taken out…the doc shoved medicated gauze into the empty holes where my wisdom teeth used to reside…he didnt tell me he was going to do it then after that painful experince he instructed me to keep the gauze in for a week and if it tries to pop out of the holes shove the gauze back in…

Hope you feel better soon. My trip to the dentist is long overdue, reminds me I need to sort that out, and that I have an opticians appointment tomorrow morning - almost forgot.
The day I had root canal was the worst trip to the dentist ever, I was super young at the time too so hearing all the machines making noises freaked me out.
My day consisted of an unfullfilling day at work.

Omgosh…you guys have had horrible experiences with dentist! Tyler, 11 shots! I don’t ever remember having that many. YIKES! I never had a bad experience yet!

I have a broken tooth that has to be fixed….now I’m going to panic over it after hearing these stories. I hate that numb feeling…it’s like your mouth is paralyzed and you can’t talk right.

the night before my 25th birthday, sat in a dentist’s chair til 9pm, after 10 shots of novacaine, I finally allowed him to begin the extraction; only to have him digging for an hour . Needless to say, I looked like Steven Tyler Jagger all summer, from my lips being stretthed out. actually it was a blessing! Had a great summer, haha

aww Tyler, sorry to hear about your less than fun dentist visit. I hate when they have to do anyting outside of just cleaning. Lucky me I’ve never had to have a tooth pulled or anything like that. That’s crazy the pain killers didn’t kick in…
