Or does he Kanye was caught on tape the night of the vmas and man was he pissed the rapper who was very upset he didn’t win a vma this year was saying that’s it no more MTV for him… The good news for Kanye is it looks like he will top the charts with the number one record in the game right now does this mean 50 will retire? Who knows I mean Jay Z retired only to come right back so you never know what will happen. A lot of people have been saying Kanye was bitching and he should just “shut up” but hey you have to give it to the guy he has passion and I would rather see passion then someone who doesn’t give a shit about anything…

Being that famous of a musician, everything is considered. you cant just be good and expect the world on a platter. You have to be good and have the right personality, attitude, etc. And he doesnt. at all.

But the thing is, MTV doesn’t always recognize real talent–it gives kudos to those who sell a lot of albums. I don’t think even half of the people who receive VMAs (and Grammys for that matter) deserve them–most of those artists have lyrics/music written for them.

After all the hazardous Britney exposure, I think I am going to have to go on a Real Music Detoxification Cleansing Ritual. I think I will start with some NIN to really scrub and exfoliate where it may have really worked its way in. I will follow that with a good soak in some Tom Petty and the HeartBreakers, Bobby Darin, Benny Goodman, Stevie Nicks, Garbage, Johnny Cash, Barenaked Ladies, Flogging Molly, The Paperboys, Relax to Paris, The Maxfield Rabbit, Paula Abdul (shut up!), Metallica, The Doors, Lynard Skynnard, The Fenians, and anything else in the Big Band, Swing Dancing, and Irish Music Categories. Instead of burning candles, I will burn Britney Spears albums. (No I will not buy them, I will steal them because I refuse to give her money).
And to cleanse myself of the Toxic Chris Crocker, I will watch The first 6 seasons of the X Files, all 3 Indiana Jones Films, and George of the Jungle. I will repeat with a smaller dosage of Harrison Ford in May by watching INDIANA JONES 4 BABY! YEAH!!!!!!

When you really think about it, these awards are just shitty approval notes from some rich asshole who thinks he knows music. Its just nice to have a Grammy [for ex], because then you know that what you did was powerful enough to make an impact on those idiots.

Not giving a shit about anything does suck, or at least when it comes to your career. I would rather see him mad over not winning a VMA than sitting in some random office in middle American mad over the shitty paycheck he got.

Did you watch Perez Sez? No. I don’t think it is on any channels I get. tear.
Did you buy Kanyes album? Hells no. The guy is a sore loser. His last album was actually good tho…I dunno. I just would hate to buy it and then it’s all “I’m the best. I’m Kanye, I’m the beeest. love me.”
What did you think about the video? I think he is unstable. I get that he’s passionate, but when he freaks out like that it just makes his ego seem too huge for the room. It kind of makes me sick.

hi tyler, i agree with you that at least he’s passionate, but i think he shouldn’t expect so much recognition. a lot of artists work incredably hard too.. and they don’t expect the vma to validate their work. he even said, “I lost to black eyed peas last year man!!” indirectly implying he is better lol. but i’m happy that his record seems to be doing well
i finally got to watch 3:10 to Yuma!! I LOVED it. it was a wild ride. and yes.. ben foster is truly amazing in it. i think it’s going on my short list of favorite movies along with Stardust. have you watched it? you definitely should!
