Just got in from my shoot. Tonight I did the new shoot for Bendix which was awesome and I can’t wait for you to see these photos I have one of the shots from the shoot which I will release right now in this blog but there are many more to come from this shoot and series. The shoot was up in the hills at a crazy house. My shoot Sunday night will be awesome working on my new secret Project I will tell you as much as I can as soon as I can but I will say it should be awesome,Also Monday check back I will have a new release which I am very excited about So make sure to look back for that!

20 hour day.

Today was a 20 hour day of work which was super fun. Had a great shoot this morning then had some meetings all night tonight now I am working on prepping my shoot for tomorrow night, I am doing the new Bendix ad for there new line it will be super fun we are going to play with water. The Bendix company is one of my favorites to work with because we get to do some really fun stuff and they have amazing clothing some of the coolest Female Pants EVER! Also Monday I will have a new and very exciting photo coming out so make sure you check back for that at Some point Monday but you never know when!!!

The Beatles Across the Universe

The weekend it seems is going to be a crazy one I am shooting all day tomorrow then a big shoot Saturday night followed by shooting on Sunday for me it the best way to spend the weekend but it’s going to be none stop back to back crazy weekend…

By the way tomorrow Across the Universe comes out. This is a movie I posted the trailer for a long time ago and now it is finally out the movie Across The Universe stars Evan Rachel Wood and a handful of other actors and actresses, including Jim Sturgess, Joe Anderson, Dana Fuchs, Martin Luther (is he related to The One?) and T.V. Carpio. There are appearances by other more recognizable faces, some more obvious than others, so you might want to pay attention. The movie is set in the 1960′s when many people were carefree but the world was fraught with the perils of war, the struggle for free speech and the endeavor for civil rights. It was a time when music was more important than in anytime in history. If you like The Beatles you will love this one although I must say I don’t know how this one will do at the box office but hopefully well…

Late night shoot

Just got in from the shoot and it was crazy! Cold and crazy but the shots came out amazing and I can not wait to show them as soon as the times comes I will let you know more about a new project I am working on. I will keep you updated as more unfolds on this one but I can say tonight was very exciting and there will be a lot more to come from this series… The shoot took place on a roof top in Hollywood mid way through the shoot a police helicopter was flying around shinning its light looking for something… So now it is 3:30 and I have an 8am meeting…

Shoot Shoot Shoot

Doing a crazy shoot tonight I am so excited about. I will tell you more after the shoot tonight ,it looks like the shoot won’t end until like 4 or 5 am so it may be a bit of a late night. In other news I have a few more covers coming up which I am excited about Looks like I will have some great covers for the early 2008 season which is awesome. If you are a photographer and you are just starting to work with magazines you can see I am already working 4 months in advance for one cover and 6 months in advance for another cover when your doing something like this you have to know the season to which you are shooting and match the clothing for that you don’t want a cover to come out where the girl is wearing a coat in the middle of summer…So that is something for you to think about as you start to shoot more magazines always remember the season your shooting for is huge. So if you are just doing your first editorials or anything like that you should look at some magazine and learn how to shoot some stuff for page bleeds (which is double page) so the page doesnt crop your models face and also remember vertical is always for a cover and full page and horizontal is always double page… So there you go I have received a lot of emails asking about this so here you go hope it helps.

Kanye wins the battle

Kanye wins the battle! Or does he Kanye was caught on tape the night of the vmas and man was he pissed the rapper who was very upset he didn’t win a vma this year was saying that’s it no more MTV for him… The good news for Kanye is it looks like he will top the charts with the number one record in the game right now does this mean 50 will retire? Who knows I mean Jay Z retired only to come right back so you never know what will happen. A lot of people have been saying Kanye was bitching and he should just “shut up” but hey you have to give it to the guy he has passion and I would rather see passion then someone who doesn’t give a shit about anything…

This week

This week is looking good lots of crazy things going on I have a really crazy shoot going on wed night this one should be super fun and super crazy (controversial) but those sometimes are the best ones I wish I could tell you more about the wed night shoot I will tell you it is going down at a haunted hotel so that always makes things interesting I will do my best to keep you updated on that shoot as it unfolds. On another note Friday day time I have a really fun shoot going on in Hollywood Make sure you check back for those and I will keep you updated. Also is you liked the photo of Serj from System of a down I will have a really crazy one of him coming out sometime in the next week or so I am very excited to release this photo and can not wait for the response! Serj was on the VMA’s last night with the Foo Fighters and he was awesome!

Ben Foster

The results are in and Mr. Ben Foster was loved by all in 3:10 to Yuma I have had a lot of people email me saying Ben is going to win an Oscar for this role! Even if Ben doesn’t win an Oscar for this role he will most likely win one down the road but I can say from knowing Ben none of those things ever really effect him, he is such a humble and nice person (you know never know that from watching 3:10 to Yuma) but really what can I say but he is just an all around great guy and I hope he does win an Oscar for this role as I thought he did an amazing job.
