So I just did the cover of Senses Magazine with Tara Moss. Tara Moss is an amazing crime book writer out of Australia she has a whole sereis of books that come out about every 2 years you can check her out at her myspace here Tara Moss Myspace
If you have never heard of Senses magazine you have to make sure to pick up the next issue I did some crazy stuff for this shoot and it will be a huge spread in the magazine this is one of the photos I was talking about with all the snakes that were crawling all over the place (I am sure some of you do not like snakes) anyway it was funny the snakes were everywhere and a girl was walking through where we were shooting this and she freaked out screamed and ran off down the hall. I could not stop laughing!

Yeah im from Australia and i know Tara moss- shes pretty cool- she used to do alot of modelling before she started writing books- and ive seen her in a few other shots with snakes so im guessin she was totally fine with it:) I hate snakes thou and i would have totally freaked out- but thats a given cos im from Oz and we have something stupid like 5 of the worlds deadliest snakes here- so im telling you if you lived here you wouldnt be a huge fan of snakes either:)

Snakes are cool…from a distance. I don’t mind, say, boas or pythons. My main fear, and yes, I’ll totally admit it, is RATS! Hate them, hate them, hate them. Have to work tonight. Oh, love the photo. Your work is so beautiful and artistic. Have a good one. Peace. Jerry.

I had to laugh when I saw the picture because it is a visual representation of part of myself, since red is my favorite color and I LOVE mystery novels, but I am pretty much terrified of snakes. Reptiles in general, actually. If I had been walking by, I would have either remained frozen in terror, or curled up in a corner screaming my lungs out. Who knows. Either way, I take my hat off to you (literally, since I’m wearing one right now!), Tyler. You sure know how to snap a brilliant shot. I’ll go check out the site and, of course, now I need to get her first novel and see if I like it.

I LOVE snakes. Especially ball pythons. But i could never own one as I could never feed it mice. Because I love mice too.

I’m okay around snakes as long as they are okay around me haha…
Spiders are more on the me screaming and running away side (minus the screaming and running…I more or less freeze up and hyperventalate, really)
My day was good. Took my three year olds outside this morning after class time, one of them poured a bucket of sand in my hair haha, that was funny, but it was two hours before I could take a shower (I had to wait till my break) so my scalp was pretty raw from all that sand. I love my kids so much haha. Teaching is the best job ever!!
Tomorrow I’m going to pay my car payment, then to a movie with some friends, no idea what we’re going to watch, it’s always a suprise haha.
I have never heard of Tara Moss. . .
