Sunday you know what that means 3 more days to the new Radiohead cd comes out in 3 days now this is a little odd but you can not buy the record in stores you can only buy it online at one place there website here is the link www.inrainbows.com www.inrainbows.com
check out there site it has a lot of crazy things going on first of all you pay for it whatever you want to pay for it you can buy it for 1 dollar but if you want the real cd and all the art work it will cost you 80 dollars check out there website and pre order the album which comes out the 10th of October…I wonder if record stores are pissed about this?

Val to be completely honest I think I stumbled across his myspace a few years back and really loved his work and then I found this blog maybe a year ago? And would look at it every so often when I was bored and loved seeing his new photographs, of course, but also reading about the crazy things that seem to happen to him quite frequently hahaha. But now its bookmarked and I look at it daily haha.

Last halloween I was a mummy and had nothing but thin strips of sheets wrapped around my body and it looks cool but it wasnt what you would call a warm outfit either and we went to the parade on santa monica blvd and then lost the car and were stranded looking for it for two hours. After that I was sick in bed for a week :/
So yeah, it depends if I go somewhere outside or inside.

i love radiohead for releasing an album without any label in the back. they do it the way a million bands do it. self distribution is a hard thing but with being radiohead that shouldnt be a problem.
i guess there were a few labels interested in them after their deal ran out but the probably had too bad experiences with the major companies.
i just remembered the case where this woman from sony bmg said copying is a crime. when you have a cd and want it as mp3 for your ipod than buy the mp3s too. it cant be just about the money. what about the artists??
and yeah. i will buy the album and pay 20 dollars. which is around 15 euros over here. yes. i am from germany.

I freaking love radio head, but I’m not going to pay 80 effing dollars for the cd and all the art. REDICULOUS! I don’t know if I’m going to get this one. The way they’re doing it is really weird, and if I get a cd I want all that it comes with haha.
My sunday was good, minus the getting sick this evening. I took an hour and a half shower, sat on the floor for most of it hoping it would make me feel better haha. did not work haha.
But I did go shopping today got a couple new cds, a new top, and some shoes yay haha.

I will buy the CD but I’m still a bit bitter over their comment that they won’t tour the US so all of my money will be going toward getting myself to Canada so i’ll be too broke to buy the $80 box set or pay much for the digital CD.

i forget where they said it and maybe they’ve changed their mind but i heard that they said they wouldn’t tour the US because they don’t support the government. It makes me quite angry since so many people here don’t support the government but they would like to see radiohead live. It loses on the fence fans who wouldn’t even think about traveling to see them. this may not be true anymore since the album is one of the first in the music industry to walk away from the industry part of the title and make money solely from live shows. hopefully the latter situation will take place.
