I have been shooting like crazy but today is finally a day of no shoots (as far as I know) but this week is full of shoots so I will have much to report and I am doing a very exciting shoot on Tuesday I can not say who just yet but check back on Tuesday and I will fill you in as soon as its done. Today I am going to try and relax do a bit of work and get out to see I am Legend if I can find the time. Also I have had no time to get ever one Christmas gift I hope my friends understand…

I’m a Hardback loyalist. My friend Dane has begun this beatnik boycott of corporate America (including starbucks) so we go to the cafe at Hastings in town. Because Dane says he doesn’t support “Corporations” (as he smokes his Marlboro Light 100’s) I don’t argue with him though. I think it might make him implode.

im not a huge coffee fan. But i like a lot of teas.
I just think starbucks is shitty quality.
I mean, they have a good product, but they dont do so well with actually MAKING it. Theyre so concerned with getting everyone served in time rather than getting everyone served in quality.
I mean, if i want a blended chai tea, i that doesnt mean i want it kinda blended until i get to the bottom and its all ice. Taking the extra minute to blend it one more time isnt gonna kill anyone.

I much prefer smaller individually owned coffee shops. theyre just all around much better. Plus, you know the people that work there tend to actually have a passion for coffee, rather than just working cuz its a job.

ive gotten my starbucks for free for like the past 3 months, just i cant have coffee anymore and it makes me sick now if i try to drink it but i’d always get mad because it’d suck towards the end or it wouldnt be blended well. i usually drink tons of tea but only a specific kind with lots of sugar or i cant take it.

one of my realy good friends used to work at starbucks and he quit because his boss told him to do it one way when he knew customers preferred it another way and he just got stressed and fed up so he quit on the spot one day, i watched, it was pretty interesting and some of the regular customers that came just for him complain to the manager now saying he was the best

ohh believe me though erica, there is MUCH better coffee than starbucks.
If you happen to find someone who is a coffee connoisseur and owns their own shop, they know where to get the good stuff. And they have a pride in what they do because its all them. Plus the tend to know the best ways to make certain drinks because they actually KNOW what theyre doing. [rather than just being trained by some dope]
