Heath Ledger is dead!
So sad So sad So sad Heath Ledger is dead! So sad but true He died in his home in NYC he has a baby with Michelle Williams. Heath has the new Batman Film the dark knight coming out very soon and I urge everyone to see it because this is it the last time you will see a new Heath Ledger Film on the big screen I did not know him I had friends who knew him and everyone had such amazing things. He was on my list of people whom I wanted to shoot for my new book but now that will never happen and its crazy to think he is only 3 years older then I am right now!

It’s amazing how the death of someone can immediately snap your attention back to reality. We get so lost & wrapped up in our own little lives and our petty complaints about the world that we seem to forget that this life is not PROMISED to ANY of us. Any of us can become nothing but a memory at any given moment.
It’s so sad about the death of Heath Ledger… he was one of my favorite actors - it really makes you stop and think about how precious time is.
The thing that gets to be so much is the fact that he was SO young, he had a baby girl, and he had such a promising life ahead… I just pray for his loved ones - they are enduring this harder than anyone & I can only imagine the pain on their hearts today.
This whole ordeal just simply blows my mind.

It’s so sad. I can’t believe it. He was one of my favorite actors! I’ll definitely go see is movie. Did you hear about it? Apparently playing the new joker really got to him because it was an intense character role. Being an actress, I know it can be hard to step away from roles. I hate the thought of him being gone.

Yeah, when I heard I was in shock. 28 years young. I didn’t know him but when I met him once he was a nice enough person. Just a tragic loss to the acting community.

This should have been a very happy day, with the Oscar nominees announced this morning. Instead, we get these devastating news. What gets me angry is the media speculation about how he died. Suicide? C’mon, people! I think it is terrible to go on and on about all the possibilities, without having an official cause of death. His poor family and friends must feel doubly terrible with all the senseless, stupid gossip.
I am very sad. May he rest in peace.

Yeah I cried. There is an interview on tmz of him saying that having his little girl changed his life. He said he didn’t want to die, but wasn’t scared of death because he felt he could live through his little girl, that she was a part of him. I didn’t know him personally, but it breaks my heart..he was so young and talented.

I was surprised. I never really saw alot of his movies, I wasn’t really down for seeing the gay cowboy movie, but that got him an Oscar nomination. On top of that he played Bob Dylan character, AND the Joker, so he was obviously a versatile actor with extraordinary talent.
Its a shame to see someone of this acting caliber be cut down so quick. Its terribly sad to see, such a young man with such great potential pass away. Even so, lets go over what I just said, he was Oscar nominated, played Bob Dylan, and the Joker… talk about making the most of your life.

This was incredibly shocking to me. It is just way to sad, and I definately will see the movie, because over the weekend i saw the trailer and thought the joker was a really good role but i thought the movie looked weak but now i want to see it.
i am also ticked off with the cops in this ordeal. They tell us there were sleeping pills. That makes everyone first think OVERDOSE, SUICIDE. I think they should keep their mouths shut untill they know the exact facts, because i doubt heath is that kind of person. I know he had troubles concentrating and sleeping during the movie, but maybe he made his heart weak with all the coffee

nyree-rose… I agree! It really BOTHERS me that people auto-assume that Heath’s death was suicide. It’s just not fair nor is it right to make that assumption.
I was reading an article about his death on TMZ which stated that Heath was put on a prescription for sleeping pills because his role of the Joker was putting a lot of stress on him and causing him to have sleepless nights. Well, according to the article, the regular dose of meds wasn’t working according to Heath, so he upped-it by taking 2 pills instead of the regular dose… well my assumption based on that information, is that the 2 pills may have stopped working after a while, and maybe he upped-it to 3 pills thinking that would do the trick, but instead, caused him to have an over-dose
This is just my own theory based on the information provided by the TMZ article - it does make sense though.
However, suicide? No. His friends and family have already made it clear that Heath would have never commited suicide, that he wasnt that type of person.

I took pills for sleep deprevation, I’m not addicted to anything but sex.
I used speed when I was in highschool, I was never addicted…use of pills doesn’t mean you’ll become addicted.
I seriously hate the news, and I hate hate hate tabloids because they blow things out of preportion before anything is ever confirmed, and their “inside sources” that’s a bunch of crap!!! It’s someone who doesn’t mind blabbing their friends private life to some publicist for a little cash…the that publicist takes the information gained, bends it here, leaves a few things out there, pulls a few more things out of context and oh wow you have some juicy load of crap that people who are way too nosy are more than willing to buy and believe.
The news does the EXACT same thing.

also, i dunno what people are saying about suicide, but regardless of what happened, it’s sad. and if that IS what happened, i think it stands as a lesson that in our country we view mental illness with a negative stigma. i will tell you from my own experience, people look at me weird when i tell them i take medicine for anxiety. recently i switched meds and i was taking all three at night instead of one three times a day..and even something small like that can seriously make a person crazy. heck, it had me crying all the time, having no idea what was going on, etc. i felt like i was going INSANE. so, to all yous people who want to get defensive about it possibly being suicide, i’m sorry, but it’s time to be real. heath was a person just like all of us. suicide is real. with the way it is looked upon, i seriously doubt that someone is going to come out and tell people that he/she is thinking of killing himself. i dunno. it kinda makes me feel bad for anyone who has to be in the spotlight all of the time. it must put a person under an extreme amount of pressure.:( gosh, this is just so sad.

There was a lead singer of a band that died uhh…I don’t remember when, like the 90s or something. He was younger than Heath Ledger…he died of a heart attack! That was not due to drugs that was because he never slept, ran his band, managed his band, and all kinds of crazy things…pushed his heart to the breaking point, and had a heart attack…
Don’t lable that on someone. It seems so awful (not of you, just the idea.)
I know quite a few people who have died really young, one this year, my age, and no one actually knows why.

All the drug abuse rumors are just that rumors. I don’t care if he was laying in a room with gummy worms all over the floor, that doesn’t mean he choked on a gummy worm.

Just a polite reminder, in case you were referring to my second post…I spoke my mind about how I feel about the Ledger death, in my first post. My second post was in response to Tyler’s “hello” to me and I was letting HIM (Tyler) know what I had been up to recently. Was not intended as self-promo, at all. die Nachricht habe ich am frühen morgen in den Nachrichten erfahren.
Ich war richtig geschockt und bin es immer noch.
Er war ein sehr guter Schauspieler.Besonders in dem Film 10 Tage die ich an dir hasse war er richtig gut.
Gott segne ihn und seine kleine Tochter.

i was shocked and so sad that i cried. and i watched the news allll day. he was such a great guy and actor he shouldnt have been taken but that is only up too god. we will all missss him soooooo much. i most defff will be seeing the new batman film no doubt about it and heath will probably do so good in it that he’ll get an oscar but he wont be able too and that will make me cry even more. and my song of the day is heath ledger singing “i love you baby” in the film 10 things i hate about you
that is my favorite movie. it was basically his first major roll and he really captured the character and made the movie worth wathcing
