Taryn Manning
Thursday is the day its coming! So make sure Thursday you check back and you will see the project that hurt me. Hopefully I will be releasing some new things leading up to the big release on Thursday. As for today just finishing up final things getting ready for the release and watching There Will Be Blood on repeat over and over again such an amazing Film I was very happy to see Juno win best Screenplay last night I thought that was truly an amazing thing.
In the meantime I have some new photos coming out today and tomorrow so make sure you check those out.
This is a new photo of Taryn Manning from my crazy shoot in the middle of nowhere make sure you check out the behind the scenes video to see where and how it all went down. This shoot was intense it got dark and we got lost in the catacombs up in the hills and could not find our way out it was awesome finally we got out and all was good but thats a weird place to be and to be lost with no gas and no cell phone service.

Yeah he is, his new album is completely different too. All acoustic and co written with Damien Echols. It’s going to be great. I got a CD in the mail from his agent and I’ve been listening to it for the last couple days. I love his voice. = )

That picture of Taryn is one of the most beautiful head shots I have ever seen in my life. Period. Only the one that Elizabeth Taylor had taken when she was young, wearing a wrapped towel around her head, is better. Taryn is super blessed to have you take her pictures. You are a regular Richard Avedon, my friend.

hey tyler,
so last night i was doing event photos for some club, and christine dolce came to visit.
security roughed me up pretty good and were total a-holes.
as for C.D. herself…well..same as always, i find her vapid and empty.
but good news, i’ve been working myself silly building my portfolio, i find it crazy that i find most of my time is dealing the politics of photography (scheduling, contracts, management, negotiation), and less time actually taking photos.
i feel sick.

You take awesome pix, very talented. I didn’t even recognize her as Taryn. As far as my day goes, it has consisted of watching Barn Yard. In which my 2 year old insisted she couldn’t watch it without me. But considering it’s only 9:30 a.m. I’m hoping it will get more exciting. The song of the day for me is Sorry by Buckcherry. woo crazy day…work was pretty much steady, not too busy not too slow. But towards the end of the day I got a call from my mom letting me know that tomorrow they are taking my uncle off the ventilator (which really is about the only thing keeping him breathing) and the doctors are just going to see if he makes it through the day. My grandmother has power of attorney (since it is her brother) and she signed a dnr. My Mom called me at work to let me know, and ask me to help plan the funeral. All I could say was no. I don’t go to funerals, I don’t sing at them, I don’t play at them, and I definately will not help plan them. My grand-dads was the last funeral I went to and may very well be the last one I will ever go to.
But I’m kind of okay. I cried at work for a bit, came home put on warm clothes went to play my guitar at the park but couldn’t do much because it was soooo cold, so I went to buy mittens (40 cents at target haha…fantastic!) then ran into a friend and sat and talked to him for about 2 hours, then just came home…nothing interesting but it felt like so much happened today haha….
