Lots of Germans / Scandinavians up there. I'm not in to girls necessarily. I'm in to people watching. I didn't find a lot of the people up there aesthetically pleasing. Just me. And trust your friend about the getting lost thing. That place is a TOTAL nightmare. Make her drive or take the MAX / bus, if possible. Even if you can read a map well, like I can, and have a good sense of direction, which I do, you often can't even find where you are on the map or discern which direction you are going or need to go to get to your destination.
