To think that at one time someone raised a family in that house is crazy. Poor people!
January 3rd, 2009 at 1:03 pm
No kidding that’s super sad. I can’t believe that they haven’t rebuilt most of that housing.
January 3rd, 2009 at 1:04 pm
I like the new layout of your website Tyler!

My family lived in Louisianna but left before that hurricane hit.
It is a very sad thing that so many lost there homes

I honestly didn’t even know what the 9th ward was until you blogged about it. Shows how much main stream America really pays attention to the disaster over there.

The new website look rocks! Way better I think than the old setup.
January 3rd, 2009 at 1:08 pm
Crazy that storm really shook things up for many years…

The homes that where lost very somber stuff but the lives that were lost because we didn’t get there in time or have a rescue plan > just another one of George W.’s brilliant works of art while he was in office.
January 3rd, 2009 at 1:10 pm
Damn right Red – Georgy was on his vacation.
January 3rd, 2009 at 1:11 pm

I was in Florida for Katrina and it wasn’t nice. I can’t even imagine what they had to go through over there.

January 3rd, 2009 at 1:15 pm
Hello everyone

January 3rd, 2009 at 1:16 pm
Very discouraging to see the aftermath in these shots
January 3rd, 2009 at 1:17 pm
Well I would kinda blame the contractors that build the concrete walls that were supposed to hold water and keep that all from happening…
January 3rd, 2009 at 1:18 pm
Yeah Adam they did fall apart but the big deal was our governments response time – we didn’t really have one. They are still finding bodies its repulsive.
January 3rd, 2009 at 1:18 pm
I dig the new look as well. Fresh for 09′
January 3rd, 2009 at 1:19 pm

January 3rd, 2009 at 1:21 pm
Say what you want it’s the governments fault.
January 3rd, 2009 at 1:22 pm
I rode through that part of New Orleans and let me tell you all it’s some scary shit to see what mother nature is capable of. Everyone should be thankful to not be involved in heavy natural disasters.
January 3rd, 2009 at 1:22 pm
