Rumors…
Heard a Rumor today that Allan Hyde may be back on True Blood next season… No I did not hear it from him just something I heard and I got excited for him and the show! Will Godric come back? Do you want him to?

That’d be all kinds of awesome…but the only way that I can really think of for Godric to be back in the show is via flashbacks…

I read they were thinking about exploring his past through flashbacks.. I wish they hadn’t killed him in the first place though

Lauren is right, unless flashback there is (normally and unfortunatelly) no way for Godric to come back- … And I read the whole collection of Sookie Stackhouse novel
But Lafayette was supposed to be already dead (from the books versions) but he’s still alive in the show- As well, Bubba isn’t present in TB when in the novels he is kinda important major….
So maybe HBO will find a way cuz they just do whatever they want …

It’s more than rumoured that there will be some flashbacks with him.
But in my humble opinion, Allan deserves more than that, considering his work in Europe (although it may not count for the US movie industry…)

personally i think the show could use some more flashbacks, it’d be nice to know more about the history of vampires and where they originated from. Love his character, he does a great job.

Is Hyde his real name since never associated it with Danes. Hydensseen yes, but never Hyde.
Since all comments seem to be pro-Godric’s return to True Blood, I’ll offer the one point against it (though he was a neat character).
Godric was so good in his 4 episodes that you almost worry about them not doing the character right if the makers brought him back. Better to have wicked 4-episode character then potentially ruining the character by bring him back.
Just though I’d offer that point as at least a counter side of it and why it might a good thing not to bring back Godric. Besides Allan Hydensseen got “buzz” (do you Hollywood-types still you “buzz”?) and he’ll land something good soon if he already hasn’t.
