Last night…
Last night I met some amazing kids from a school in Cincinnati Ohio, they are all into photography and there school set it up for them to meet me, they were some of the nicest kids I have ever met! We all hung out at my house and talked for a few hours before I instructed them to visit In N Out while on there trip… Here are some of the students from Cincinnati Country Day
This is a photo of all of us!
How was your night?

I’m sort of wondering how late is too late to start photography. I’m a college student about to graduate this year…I’m a business major, but I feel kind of unsatisfied with the lack of creativity I see in my future pent up in a bank office. Deep inside I want to become an artist. But college debt ruins all those dreams. Tyler Shields and successful talents like him constantly make me question my life!

@Leah I wouldn’t presume to speak for Tyler, or anyone else for that matter, I however would say it’s *never* too late.

I work with young people in a community college and I wanted to say how awesome it is that you will give your time and experience to these teenagers, it really is invaluable and they will remember you their entire lives for it.

Very inspiring and truly generous! More artists should do things like this. It really does shape young minds towards something positive.

@ Leah …to agree with…it’s never too late. Unless you’re graduating in December, take a class in the spring. It’s what I’ll be doing (only I’m not as close to graduation.). Congrats, as well!
That’s an extremely awesome thing for them (the school), and you to do for the students! They all look insanely happy to be there. (:
As for my night: ’tis been much better than last night.

Thanks so much for spending time with us on Friday! I have to say it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life to be able to talk to someone with as much experience, wit, and humor as you have. Thanks again for the posters and the great advice you gave us.
