Gone Baby Gone
Dorchester, one of the toughest neighborhoods in all of Boston, is no place for the weak or innocent. It’s a territory defined by hard heads and even harder luck, its streets littered with broken families, hearts and dreams. When one of its own, a 4-year-old girl, goes missing, private investigators Patrick Kenzie and Angela Gennaro don’t want the case. But after pleas from the child’s aunt, they open an investigation that will ultimately risk everything – their relationship, sanity and lives – to find a lost little girl.
Rendition
Post 9/11, Egyptian born chemical engineer, Anwar El-Ibrahim (Omar Metwalley) disappears on a flight from South Africa to Washington DC. He is shipped off to a third world country for interrogation after he is deemed a political prisoner. His pregnant American wife, Isabella (Reese Witherspoon) travels to Washington to try and learn the reason for his disappearance. Meanwhile, at a secret detention facility somewhere outside the U.S., CIA analyst Douglas Freeman (Jake Gyllenhaal) witnesses the unorthodox interrogation of a foreign national by the Egyptian secret police. The event forces him to question his assignment as he becomes entangled in the interrogation of El-Ibrahim.
30 Days of Night
In the far Northern Hemisphere, the small town of Barrow, Alaska, experiences a solid month of darkness every year. Though most of the residents head south for the winter, some townspeople remain behind. However, those that stay regret their decision when, one year, hungry vampires descend on Barrow to feed. Sheriff Eben (Josh Hartnett), his wife (Melissa George) and a dwindling band of survivors must try to last until dawn breaks over Barrow’s monthlong twilight.
Which will you see?
