The Beatles Across the Universe

Thursday, September 13th, 2007

The weekend it seems is going to be a crazy one I am shooting all day tomorrow then a big shoot Saturday night followed by shooting on Sunday for me it the best way to spend the weekend but it’s going to be none stop back to back crazy weekend…

By the way tomorrow Across the Universe comes out. This is a movie I posted the trailer for a long time ago and now it is finally out the movie Across The Universe stars Evan Rachel Wood and a handful of other actors and actresses, including Jim Sturgess, Joe Anderson, Dana Fuchs, Martin Luther (is he related to The One?) and T.V. Carpio. There are appearances by other more recognizable faces, some more obvious than others, so you might want to pay attention. The movie is set in the 1960’s when many people were carefree but the world was fraught with the perils of war, the struggle for free speech and the endeavor for civil rights. It was a time when music was more important than in anytime in history. If you like The Beatles you will love this one although I must say I don’t know how this one will do at the box office but hopefully well…

Tyler Shields
I thought this shot would fit the 60’s style of this movie well…

3:10 to Yuma

Thursday, September 6th, 2007

3:10 to Yuma comes out tomorrow and it is a must see My good buddy Ben Foster has his new movie 3:10 to Yuma out tomorrow. This movie was directed by the same director from Walk The Line.

ben foster
This is a photo of Ben Foster who is an amazing actor but an even better coffee drinker!

Here is a bit about the movie

“3:10 to Yuma” stars Russell Crowe, Christian Bale, Ben Foster, Gretchen Mol and Peter Fonda in a modern take on the classic western by Elmore Leonard from producing/writing/directing team Cathy Konrad and James Mangold (”Walk the Line”).
In Arizona in the late 1800’s, infamous outlaw Ben Wade (Crowe) and his vicious gang of thieves and murderers have plagued the Southern Railroad. When Wade is captured, Civil War veteran Dan Evans (Bale), struggling to survive on his drought-plagued ranch, volunteers to deliver him alive to the “3:10 to Yuma”, a train that will take the killer to trial. On the trail, Evans and Wade, each from very different worlds, begin to earn each other’s respect. But with Wade’s outfit on their trail – and dangers at every turn – the mission soon becomes a violent, impossible journey toward each man’s destiny.

This weekend was not good for the movie business Stardust tanked and Rush Hour 3 did not perform as well as everyone hoped it would but you know what that mean Superbad will make 100 million dollars at the box office so don’t be suprised when Superbad is #1 at the box office!
