The weekend it seems is going to be a crazy one I am shooting all day tomorrow then a big shoot Saturday night followed by shooting on Sunday for me it the best way to spend the weekend but it’s going to be none stop back to back crazy weekend…

By the way tomorrow Across the Universe comes out. This is a movie I posted the trailer for a long time ago and now it is finally out the movie Across The Universe stars Evan Rachel Wood and a handful of other actors and actresses, including Jim Sturgess, Joe Anderson, Dana Fuchs, Martin Luther (is he related to The One?) and T.V. Carpio. There are appearances by other more recognizable faces, some more obvious than others, so you might want to pay attention. The movie is set in the 1960’s when many people were carefree but the world was fraught with the perils of war, the struggle for free speech and the endeavor for civil rights. It was a time when music was more important than in anytime in history. If you like The Beatles you will love this one although I must say I don’t know how this one will do at the box office but hopefully well…

I thought this shot would fit the 60’s style of this movie well…

Today was an amazing day One of the best meetings I have ever had and I am very excited about everything I got done today Had an amazing dinner…Excited about all the new things I am working on right now and I will tell you more when the time is right. The X games is in L.A. right now so there are parties all over the town and people are going crazy, unless you want to sit in traffic stay out of downtown this weekend it is going to hectic…So we will see what happens this year to top last year going to be hard to top a double back flip on a motorcycle Ricky Carmicheal is racing his final race of all time so maybe that will be a crazy one to watch! (or not)

In other news

CNN reports that the sale of Dow Jones to News Corp has been officially approved by the board.

Dow Jones & Co. has accepted Rupert Murdoch’s acquisition offer. The $5 billion offer was accepted by the family members and trusts which control 32 percent of the voting shares. The acquisition will give Murdoch control of the second most widely read newspaper in the USA. The sale will become official after a board meeting this afternoon.

Also looks like Friday I will have one of the photos from the Wayne Hadly Photoshoot to release which I am very excited about.

Also today I had an amazing meeting I will tell you more as it unfolds but it could be big things and be super fun to work on. As more happens you will know more,make sure you check back for the Wayne Hadly photos.

I am so Excited for the new book I have been working on it like crazy and I have a lot in store for The Dirty Side of Glamor.

Today I have a lot of prep to do for a new shoot I am working on. This should be the biggest shoot yet once it is done it will take me sometime to get this together,but when I finally do have it done I feel like it will be well worth the wait this shot will include water fire wind and maybe some sand who knows… All the elements seem to be coming into this shot.

In movie news I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry has come in at #1 so far this weekend Adam Sandler it seems can do no wrong 34,775,000 total just Friday and Saturday

Today is Friday the 13th a lot of people fear this day as they thing something bad will happen when you are a kid it is made to be very scary at least it was when I was a kid but today is The Interpol Party so looks like I have to go out also Captivity is out today I already saw the movie and I liked it I don’t normally see those types of movies but it was very well done and worth seeing for sure… In other new

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is out tonight for early screenings and every show in L.A. is sold out this one seems to be set to be the biggest Harry Potter movie yet…We will see if it can beat out Transformers which has already passed 200 million world wide also we have the simpsons movie coming soon so who knows what will hit and what will flop although I will say the chances of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix flopping is 0% it will be a hit for sure! Will you see it?

Been printing all day had a shoot this morning then straight to printing it was a bit of a crazy day today and I still have about 80 photos to print today. So far this weekend Oceans 13 is the biggest movie of the weekend Hostel 2 is not even number 2 I am sure the film will jump up in numbers but as of right now it seems like a slow opening for the horror movie.

Bijou Phillips has her new movie Hostel 2 coming out tomorrow so if you are going to see the movie make sure you watch out for Bijou Phillips I shot her for my first book 4by5 and I hear Bijou is amazing in Hostel 2 you may know her from Bully and Almost Famous. I have a new photo I will be releasing sometime this weekend it is my favorite new photo and I can not wait for you to see it!!! so make sure you check back.

So last night Caroline Damore has her birthday party at the Roosevelt I had not seen her in so long and it was amazing she is doing well Caroline is one of the first people I shot for 4by5 her family owns a Pizza place called Damores which is the best pizza in L.A. last night I had 8 pieces of pizza…. Ran into so many old friends last night people I have not seen in years because I never go out anymore but it was a good time none the less.
